Slam Diego Mission Statement 

Slam Diego Roller Derby is a grassroots, community-driven banked track roller derby league dedicated to empowering athletes of all backgrounds through the sport of roller derby. Our mission is to create an inclusive, supportive environment where members build both physical and mental strength while fostering lasting friendships and personal growth.

We are committed to creating a space that challenges conventions and celebrates authentic self-expression through athletic excellence, community engagement, and the transformative power of teamwork. As a member-operated organization, we champion diversity, accessibility, and the values of resilience and determination that define the culture of roller derby.

Through our dedication to the banked track tradition and our passion for the sport, Slam Diego aims to inspire confidence, promote wellness, and create opportunities for members to challenge their limits while building a stronger, more connected community both on and off the track.

In service of the mission statement, Slam Diego Derby manages both youth and adult league skating programs that primarily compete within the Roller Derby Coalition of Leagues (RDCL) organization and ruleset.
